Amazoncom Andy Jassy Full Time Job

Andy Jassy Is Now Amazon's Full-Time CEO

Amazon's former CEO Jeff Bezos steps down

After almost 27 years, Jeff Bezos is no longer the CEO of Amazon.com, Inc. The role is now permanently occupied by Andy Jassy, the former CEO of Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Bezos said in a letter to Amazon employees that he will transition to the role of executive chairman at Amazon and focus on new products and initiatives.

Jassy takes the helm at Amazon

Jassy joined Amazon in 1997 and has been instrumental in the growth of AWS, Amazon's cloud computing business. Under Jassy's leadership, AWS has become one of the most important businesses in Amazon’s portfolio. And now, Jassy will oversee all of Amazon's businesses, including retail, cloud computing, and digital advertising.

Bezos said that Jassy is "the right leader to take Amazon into the future." He praised Jassy's "sharp intellect, boundless energy, and high standards." Jassy is also a well-respected leader within Amazon, and he is known for his ability to execute and deliver results.

Amazon's future under Jassy

It is still too early to say what Amazon will look like under Jassy's leadership. But Bezos has already hinted at some of the areas that Jassy will focus on.

In his letter to employees, Bezos said that Jassy will focus on "new initiatives" and "long-term thinking." He also said that Jassy will "continue to champion our customer obsession."

It is likely that Jassy will continue to invest in AWS and other high-growth businesses. He may also focus on expanding Amazon's international presence and developing new products and services.

Only time will tell what the future holds for Amazon under Jassy's leadership. But one thing is for sure: Amazon is in good hands.
